It started off as a simple plan. I wanted to do something special for our 25th wedding anniversary. The plan was to scan all the photos we have in the house to get them into the cloud so that we would never lose them and have easy access to them. FYI Cathy was/is a prolific photo taker. What started as a simple plan turned into a labor of love real quick. It really is amazing how many photos those small photo albums hold....I really did not know what I was getting into. I bought a nice scanner and fed that thing for months during every spare minute I had. While scanning them I came across soo many photos I wanted to talk to her about, and it killed me not to. Every day I would have to put everything back and act like nothing was happening. At the end I took a secret week of vacation to finish it all up and figured I needed to share some of them with the people we love. These are a very small sample of the photos. I scanned close to 5,000 and then went through our digital photos where we have 10's of thousands. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did putting them together!
